The level of egotism required to comfortably have a personal website?

Behold world; my thoughts and opinions. For out of the billions minds that contain unrecorded ideas, I've realised that mine are not only worth preserving, but are also worth to be broadcast to the world. So I have built this digital monument to my own mind. So everyone may gaze upon my works and be filled with wonder, awe and admiration. But mostly a feeling of despair. As you realise that your own independent thoughts will never attain the greatness of my own. For that's why you humbly came to my writings; you believed that they contained something that you do not possess. And in this regard you are right. Why would you read what you already know? Why would you seek out entertainment if you could entertain yourself? Why would you seek out the thoughts of others if you could think for yourself? That's why you came before me with your mind as an open vessel. So the void in there may be filled with something; for all vacuums yearn to be filled. And a vacuum does not care what it is filled with. But all matter is desperate to fill it and therefore replace it. For that is the act of communication: penetration. So the thoughts of one may enter into the mind of another. And then the purpose of communication can be achieved: reproduction not of the body but of the mind. So the communicator can create a copy of himself out of those who will listen. For he believes that what is before him is inferior.

So here I will give you the greatest gift I can bestow: The gift of me.
